Learning and sharing music is a great way to build social connection. Drumming has also been shown to decrease inflammation\, anxiety\, and stress – it’s a great way to have some fun and heal your body and mind at the same time! Come boost your immune system and meet  new people! \n\nMore Important Information\n\nYou can register for one\, two\, three or four sessions.\nEach session will be led by drummer Sam Holmstock and held in the backyard garden at Preservation Hall in Wellfleet. In addition to his work with ENTRAIN\, Sam has had the honor of playing music with artists such as Babatunde Olatunji\, Bo Diddley\, Gil Scott-Heron\, Kate and James Taylor\, Bob Weir\, and even Bill Clinton. \nA Berklee grad\, Sam is currently on the faculty of Cotuit Center for the Arts and brings therapeutic drumming to many special needs communities via his organization Drum Strategies For Healing. DESCRIPTION:b\well and HOW are hosting a Spring Personal Product Pantry Drive! We will be collecting donations for HOW’s Personal Product Pantry from May 27 – June 2. \nIn addition to the services we provide for women with chronic illness on the Outer Cape\, HOW operates a Food and Personal Care Products Pantry – open to anyone in need from Eastham to Provincetown. \nWhile SNAP helps address food insecurity – a major challenge in our rural community – these benefits don’t cover essential non-food items such as toothpaste\, menstrual pads\, bath soap\, and household cleaner. \nTogether with your support\, we can provide these items to help ease the burden of cost\, transportation\, and worry that may come with chronic illness or economic hardship. \nYour donations help make it possible for us to offer these items to those in need! \nCome say hello! SUMMARY:Free Grief Group for Women
DESCRIPTION:We’re doing it again! After a tremendously successful run in Wellfleet this winter\, HOW has partnered with Sharing Kindness again to host another group for Outer Cape residents this spring. \nOpen to any woman\, person who identifies as a woman or non-binary person looking for support after the death of a loved one\, this group begins April 28 and runs until May 26. \nThese are weekly peer-support sessions facilitated by a licensed clinical social worker. Sessions run from 10:30am – 12pm for five weeks at a private location in Provincetown. \nHave questions? Want to sign up? Call the HOW office to let us know you’re interested: 508-487-4357. The Sharing Kindness facilitator will call you to talk about the group and help you determine if it’s a good fit for you.
