Ruthie’s Boutique Fashion Show – Fundraiser for HOW
For over 40 years, Ruthie’s Boutique has been a cornerstone of the Provincetown and Outer Cape community—supporting, styling, and uplifting locals with heart and history.
Named in honor of “Ruthie” Adler, the beloved manager of the original HAPI Thrift Store (late 1970s–early 1990s), Ruthie’s Boutique carries a legacy rooted in resilience, generosity, and a bit of rebellious spirit. The name itself comes from a story: when the late Nancy Whorf refused to write a check to HAPI, she instead made it out to “Ruthie’s Boutique”—and the name stuck.
Today, Ruthie’s spirit lives on in every stitch, every show, and every act of giving.
